As I'm watching...

yet the totem fell apart
into the red larva beneath
suffocated amidst the fumes

yet the larva settled at last
cultivate the new land
for a gargoyle to bury its seed

yet came shooting a strong bark
shades of leaves for rovers
breezes of wind for vagabonds

yet the flowered branches never bear
blooms withered, and peeking out again
nothing fell for the feed

yet new seeds pushing their way
through the petals and spores
only to die halfway

yet fruit of longing will not grow
for it was destined to sleep
or fall into the fire

granites my ozone
the molten chunk
solidified and hardened
yet breath of willow
breezes whispers of soul
no longer spilling the spell
but chiseled, are the walls
and the name that lingers
now carved onto the gorge
forever, it will stay there...

Layered pigment betrayed me
Gleeful iris tricked me
Gland of mucous lied to me

The Man in the Mirror

I looked into the mirror
and saw an old man I didn't know
lying on the floor
gasping for breath
I stared at the the face
"why is thy gloom?"
"hath thou bear trouble?"
he cried to me "save me please!"

I looked deeper into the mirror
and saw a kid on his knees
blood over his limbs
tears in his eyes
laughter from his lips
I stared at the face
"who art thou?"
he screamed at me "look at me!"

I closed my eyes
surrendered to the darkness
and wind back the continuum space
there were horns on my head
ringed with glittering halo
there were wings on my back
of fire and icicles
I've ripped them off years ago

When I opened my eyes
I looked into the mirror
and saw myself, the 'me' that I know...

Emptying the Bucket

The wild beast in the white cage
scratching the claws on the red soil
howling for freedom
roaring to wander
to fly towards the brightest sun

And wailing wind blew past
ripping apart the pearly bars
behold! the beast is out
let it rove the dream land
the land that it desired

And so the dam became empty
and the drums stopped beating
yet the world seemed so full
and so beautiful

the bucket is emptied
the burden is lifted...

I kissed the ground
and stared at the sun
one day, I'll be there

The Sun Shines Through

I chipped them stones
come wide, come tall
faith is my forte
the darkest of the wall
is nothing but rigid clay
piece by piece
and bits by bits
grit my teeth
clench my fists
let everything cracks open
chipped into stones
let the sun shines through
and the sun will shine through

A new mountain to pass
standing in my way
like the ones I climbed before
So spread the news to my limbs
tell the hands to powder the grip
and the legs to steel the feet
Because here we are
at the feet of rockiest mountain
yet larger, and yet steeper
unlike any other
And tell the spine, the guts and the thighs
tell them don't be afraid to die
No matter what turbulent or pain
it is just another mountain
